role overview
the sales director will own the company's global sales strategy and execution. This role requires a leader who sets the pace, leads from the front, and drives a culture of discipline, accountability, and high performance. You will scale multi-region teams, build and grow a book of business, deepen client relationships, and ensure strong revenue and margin growth. Strong strategic vision and a passion for developing people are essential.
key responsibilities
* lead global sales strategy and execute multi-region growth plans across electronics, mro, and industrial components
* acquire new clients and expand the company's presence in priority markets
* build, manage, and scale international sales teams while coaching and developing talent
* lead by example with a hunter mentality and relentless drive to win
* develop and grow a diversified book of business, overseeing both new customer acquisition and key account expansion
* build strategic partnerships and long-term customer relationships to strengthen market position
* use data-driven forecasting, kpis, and analytics to manage pipeline and predict revenue accurately
* develop scalable sales processes, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement
* strengthen vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and margins, and optimize supplier value
* monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry shifts to guide strategy and maintain leadership
ideal profile
* bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
* minimum of 7 years of strategic b2b sales experience in the industrial, electronics, or mro sectors
* demonstrated success leading and scaling multi-region or global sales teams
* proven hunter with a record of acquiring clients, building new revenue streams, and developing key accounts
* strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, mentor, and elevate team performance
* deep understanding of margins, pricing structures, and vendor negotiation
* experience developing and implementing sales processes, analytics frameworks, and forecasting models
* highly data-driven with strong proficiency in crm and analytics tools
* excellent communication skills in both spanish and english; additional languages are a plus
