We are searching the best talent for a Medical Scientific Liaison to be in Mexico City, Mexico.

Purpose: The MSL Mission is to, through customized interactions, discuss our treatments with physicians and other customers to shape behaviors and support informed decision making whilst identifying and bringing medical insights into the organization as inputs to medical strategy.

Essential Duties:

- Build relationships with community and academic HCPs focusing on changing medical behavior through the exchange of scientific knowledge
- Convey the value of the attributes related to the innovation (ie, efficacy, safety, effectiveness, adherence, QoL) to gain attribute endorsement with stakeholders
- Shaping medical practice by changing behaviors within the HCP Community during product pre launching phases - prepare the health care environment and medical community, accelerate adoption (PIs engagement and pre-approval access programs)
- Follow up on education, adoption of new knowledge, identifying barriers for medical practice change for innovative products - Respond to scientific inquiries of HCPs/investigators/health care systems and population health decision makers
- Integrates scientific data into real life practice to meet customer/audience needs
- Identify potential sites and support sites recruitment when needed in alignment with the TA Head/Senior medical manager
- Execute Medical Field Educational Events focused on pipeline close to launch and key in line products
- Gather insights from Field interactions regarding scientific knowledge, treatments paradigms, Competitors, medical needs and opportunities
- Draw and execute the territory and KOL engagement plan according to the strategy and validated by the other MAF stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Any health care/biomedicine career, desirable post-graduation or MSc/PhD.
- Skills Ability to learn and effectively convey clinical and non-clinical technical information; fast Learner; ability to network and matrix, ability to work independently, ability to lead and influence key decision makers, ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
- Minimum of 2 years of previous academic experience or industry clinical trials experience is recommended.

2. About the job

Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) engage with healthcare professionals, institutions and payers, in a non-promotional manner, to identify and address their needs. MSLs use their scientific expertise to communicate and form partnerships to deliver the medical strategy, capture actionable insights and ultimately improve patient pathways and outcomes.

Main responsibilities:

- To build and develop enduring value-based trusted partnerships, through scientific engagement and exchange, with healthcare professionals and institutions in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment
- To engage proactively and reactively with healthcare professionals, payers and institutions.
- To execute the Country Medical Plan.
- To generate actionable and valuable insights and propose solutions.
- To create cross functional partnerships and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- All MSLs comply with the local and corporate compliance frameworks for external and internal interactions and complete all global/local mandatory trainings.

3. About you

- Experience: 2 - 4 as a Medical Scientific Liaison

- Skills: Speaker experience desirable, team player, self-driven, transversal collaboration, Strong communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated leadership ability in the pharmaceutical industry.

- Education: M.D. Degree, pharmacy or post graduate level science degree. (required)

- Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken)

- Availability for travel

Medical Scientific Liaison - Hematology

Position Description

As a Medical Scientific Liaison at Novo Nordisk, you will:

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with external stakeholders (KOLs, HCPs, HCOs) through scientific communication and engagement.
- Provide expert medical and scientific support to stakeholders within your territory, ensuring knowledge of relevant data and Novo Nordisk products.
- Deliver impactful medical presentations, support healthcare professionals with publications, and participate in continuing medical education activities.
- Collaborate on medical events, including advisory boards, clinical trials, speaker trainings, and research initiatives.
- Conduct scientific updates for internal teams and external stakeholders, while supporting the training of the sales force.
- Partner with market access teams and contribute to clinical trial activities, including staff training and feasibility assessments.

Required Qualifications

We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:

- Must have: A university degree in Medicine, Biotechnology, or Chemistry, with a high specialty in Coagulation.
- Proficiency in English.
- 3-5 years of experience, including planning and developing continuous medical education activities in Hematology.

Nice to have:

- A master's or bachelor's degree in health sciences.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with laboratory diagnostics and investigation protocols.

You will join our Hematology team, where we are committed to driving scientific communication and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Our team is dedicated to providing medical education among Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) through scientific meetings and symposia, while also building strategic relationships with International Professional Associations (IPAs) on a global and national level.
