the role of the business analytics advisor plays a key part in the business analytics global team, acting as a vital partner to our customers by offering high-quality and reliable services that establish trust in the region.
this position systematically analyzes business requirements from various areas and business lines related to information needs such as reports, dashboards, kpis, advanced analytics models, portals & tools; additionally provides business and process guidance leveraging on the ba centralized expertise teams.
the role clearly communicates to all stakeholders the scope and services to be provided under the business excellence - business analytics organization and recommends ways to deploy analytics solutions that accelerate transformation, creating better experiences and increasing business insights that support decision-making with real-time reliable data.

main responsibilities
* responsible for the ba services and support in the region
* participate in the conceptual design of a solution coordinated with the business analytics global team
* typically, act as the first filter for new requirements or improvements
* promote change management with end-users
* knowledge transfer and training to end-users
* evaluate and decide about unused reports to be decommissioned

qualifications
* advanced english & spanish
* data engineer professional (or related engineering) with experience as a data architect, data science or data engineer.
* 5 years: related to data topics supporting business areas or information technology areas. Leading projects related to data with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams. Data architecture, management & modeling, data lakes, data services, databases, semantic layers.

* experience with common data visualization tools.

* interpret and analyze data from multiple sources to produce imaginative solutions to problems.
* doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
* cloud database knowledge (snowflake, sql, azure sql, hana).
