We are seeking a sales professional to join our team in tala, jalisco, mexico. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to develop and execute commercial strategies for customers across regions and globally.
*key responsibilities:*
• collaborate with the commercial manager, grower support, customer service, and sekoya team for the development and successful execution of the commercial strategy.
• establish relationships in the industry by closing sales and agreements.
• manage customer relationships, anticipate needs, and deliver solutions.
• develop and maintain a rolling sales forecast for responsible accounts.
• provide input and recommendations for new products and varieties and contribute to their commercialization and acceptance with assigned accounts.
• gather information on competitors, customers, and trends and make recommendations to management to take advantage of market opportunities.
• collaborate with the marketing team on planning and execution of marketing plans for targeted customers.
• coordinate regional commercial teams to improve customer success.
• collaborate with the appropriate teams on scheduling and managing visits to the nursery from existing and prospective customers. Plan and implement educational seminars for customers as needed.
• ensure the highest level of confidentiality on sensitive matters concerning the nursery.
*requirements:*
• bachelor's degree in business, agribusiness, marketing, horticulture or related field.
• 5 years of sales experience or sales management experience in agricultural business.
• experience with market analysis, logistics, pricing, budgeting and program management.
• proficiency with word, excel, powerpoint and outlook.
• assertive oral and written communication in english and spanish.
