our team
you will report to the site operational excellence leader and work in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders across the site, including operations, production, process/test/industrial engineering, quality, planning, procurement, program management, business units, and finance. This role has no direct reports and leads through influence, coaching, and project execution.
what you will do
* lead and implement six sigma projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, reducing process variances.
* motivate and influence cross-functional project teams; teach and coach through hands‑on activities to ensure adoption and results.
* communicate clearly and effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) to set strategies and drive alignment.
* facilitate improvement methods and events, including wsk and rapid improvement events, and oversee process improvement projects.
* drive mos (molex operating system) adoption: implementation, cascading, and training.
* lead projects that impact operational cost and meet minimum required economic value .
* track and manage project performance in i-nexus, ensuring on‑time completion and achievement of quality and savings targets.
* actively support 5s, ehs, quality, and lean programs by following approved procedures, performing clean‑up activities, and recommending improvements.
* fulfill responsibilities/authorities defined in any applicable control plan .
* perform other duties as assigned by management.
who you are (basic qualifications)
* bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related field.
* basic statistical knowledge and the ability to learn and apply statistics to process/product improvement.
* strong communication capability (verbal, written, presentation).
* english level c1 (proficient user) : able to use english fluently and flexibly in a wide range of contexts.
* ability to use the necessary quality tools related to the position.
* ability to perform physical requirements as outlined in the functional job description.
* demonstrated high performance in current or previous roles; manufacturing/plant experience highly preferred .
