This position is responsible for leading bu cell manager, production manager, and new product manager (npi) to satisfy customer's requirements: new product launch, order management, quality achievement, shipment and revenue performance. To achieve p/l goal by properly resource arrangement, production and inventory management.
duties and responsibilities
* develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
* provides input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products.
* establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
* provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
* ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
* coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
* reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
* determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
* develop operational procedures and standards to achieve business goals.
* develop budget plans to control expense and meet cost objectives.
* develop strategic plans to improve operational efficiency.
* schedule monthly meetings to discuss about concerns, budgets and business improvements.
* assist in development and delivery of all client projects.
* manage staffing requirement and assignment for client projects.
* provide support and guidance to operations team as and when needed.
* monitor performance metrics and evaluate operational effectiveness.
* ensure that operations team follows safety and security procedures.
* responsible for implementing programs to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and the requirements of the rba.

education and experience
* bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical), operations management, supply chain management, or a related field required.
* master's degree (mba or ms in engineering/operations) preferred.
* 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain leadership within the electronics or electronic manufacturing services (ems) industry.
* minimum of 5 years in a senior management or director-level role overseeing multi-department operations (production, planning, quality, supply chain, and logistics).
* proven experience managing high-mix, high-volume electronic manufacturing environments.
* strong background in lean manufacturing, six sigma, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
* demonstrated success in cost control, capacity planning, yield improvement, and on-time delivery performance.
* experience with erp/mrp systems and data-driven operational decision-making
* familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (iso 9001, iso 14001, ipc, rohs, etc.).
* experience leading large, cross-functional teams and driving change in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
