where you’ll make a difference
- lead commercial activities for fats, oils, emulsifiers, and lipid-based ingredients across mexico & latam.
- identify, develop, and expand new business opportunities in bakery, dairy, confectionery, and processed foods.
- provide technical support based on customer formulations, processes, and production needs.
- conduct product trials, demos, and technical training with clients and internal teams.
- collaborate with applications r&d, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and supply chain.
- translate technical capabilities into commercial value propositions for clients.
- build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring long-term account growth.
- manage crm updates, sales forecasting, and performance reports.
- lead market intelligence efforts to identify trends, competitor activity, and growth segments.
what makes you the right fit
- bachelor’s degree in food engineering, food science, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of technical sales experience, ideally in fats & oils or food ingredients.
- strong understanding of lipid technology: emulsification, fat crystallization, oxidative stability, and antioxidants.
- solid knowledge of margarine and shortening processes.
- ability to translate technical concepts into customer-oriented solutions.
- excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- experience working with food manufacturers or industrial processors.
- fluent in spanish; english proficiency at b2 level or higher.
- availability to travel nationally and regionally.
