Director, leasing – juarez / chihuahua
based in ciudad juárez, the director, leasing leads leasing initiatives for the juárez & chihuahua markets, partnering with broker teams, maximizing portfolio value, and driving revenue through strategic leasing and marketing activities.
a day in the life
the role requires a deep understanding of local market dynamics, developing and maintaining relationships with brokers, customers, and in‑house teams, and leading the marketing strategy for a portfolio totaling over 20 million square feet.
key responsibilities
* demonstrate extensive local market knowledge and strong external relationships with key brokers and the real estate community.
* establish a favorable market presence by fostering professional relationships with the local brokerage community, government officials, and prospective customers.
* operate independently in all areas of leasing, focusing on maximizing revenues and brand visibility for prologis.
* collaborate with the market officer on capital deployment activities.
* coordinate construction of tenant spaces with project management teams, ensuring smooth transition and tenant satisfaction.
* identify, negotiate, and execute acquisition targets and new business initiatives, supporting underwriting and due diligence efforts.
* maintain performance on essential sales and leasing kpis, customer centricity, operational excellence, and culture initiatives.
* provide direct oversight of support staff to ensure quality work in accordance with company policies.
required qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in asset management, leasing, or brokerage, including sourcing, negotiating, and executing commercial leases.
* strong communication, decisiveness, and gravitas; ability to cultivate robust partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
* proven track record of meeting target goals and driving results.
* solid background in institutional real estate and investments.
* extensive transaction experience as a deal closer.
* demonstrated ability to analyze, underwrite, negotiate, and close commercial real‑estate deals.
* pc proficiency with microsoft office applications (word, excel, outlook, etc.).
preferred qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, real estate, or a related field.
* proficiency with salesforce crm and ability to learn company‑specific software.
* experience in property management and real‑estate development.
* willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and ai tools to improve efficiency and quality.
