position overview
we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced estimator with a background in construction; preferably roofing and exterior-related projects. This role involves estimating and sales administration, ensuring accurate proposals, timely contract processing, and efficient coordination between sales, vendors, and production teams. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and can adapt to changing priorities in a fast-growing, collaborative environment.
primary responsibilities
● review project specifications, drawings, and site information to prepare accurate roofing and exterior-related estimates
● utilize historical data, vendor pricing, and construction knowledge to generate competitive and profitable proposals
● prepare and deliver roof proposals, quotes, and reports in a timely manner
● revise estimates as required to reflect scope changes or updated vendor pricing
● support the sales team with contracts, order forms, and proposal documentation
● ensure all proposals align with company pricing guidelines and approved margins
● maintain and update pricing sheets from vendors to ensure accuracy in estimates and proposals
● monitor vendor performance and address issues impacting project timelines or costs
● prepare estimating reports, proposal activity, and change reports
● maintain a positive and professional tone throughout all interactions
required qualifications
● prior experience in roofing or exterior construction estimating
● strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and vendor pricing structures
● ability to ensure accuracy in estimates, contracts, and reporting
● ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
● reliable internet connection and professional workspace
● candidate must be fluent in english
preferred skills
● prior experience with construction management or estimating software
● familiarity with u.s.-based sales and consumer services
● positive attitude, motivated, and willingness to learn and adapt
annual salary in usd $ 25,000 (weekly payments)
