As an external communication jr manager, you will implement the tactics and strategies of relations with media and external communication of all business units to maintain the positioning and reputation of ppg and its brands in mexico.
*key responsibilities*
- supervision of public relations agencies, social networks, and production as well as relationship with the media.
- content creation (press releases, speeches, key messages, content for social networks, etc).
- generation and communication of strategic alliances for the areas of corporate social responsibility (fundacion causa comex, mexico bien hecho and colorful communities).
- media monitoring and project follow-up (infonavit, engineering week, etc.)
- preparation of reports, presentations, and coordination of donations
- participation in global communication teams
- coordination of press conferences
*qualifications*
- +5 years of experience in public relations with media contacts in corporate environments or experience in external agencies as account executive
- bachelor´s degree in communication, journalism, public relations, international business or related
- english at intermediate fluid level for contact and communication with global teams
- experienced in microsoft office
- skills: interpersonal and communication skills, oriented to details, customer focused, organized.
