We’re looking for an AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems that combine AWS-native machine learning services with high-performance, event-driven architectures. If you’re passionate about turning AI models into real-world business impact, this role is for you.

As an AI/ML Engineer at DFX5, you’ll design, train, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning models that drive intelligent customer experiences and real-time analytics. You’ll work across the entire ML lifecycle—from data preparation and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring—using AWS-native AI/ML services.
You’ll collaborate with solution architects, data scientists, and CX developers to integrate AI capabilities into chatbots, voice assistants, fraud detection systems, and customer insight platforms.
- Build and deploy ML models using Amazon SageMaker for supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning tasks.
- Leverage Amazon Bedrock to integrate and fine-tune foundation models for text, image, and multimodal use cases.
- Implement NLP/NLU solutions with Comprehend, Lex, Polly, and Transcribe for intelligent chat/voice interactions.
- Develop computer vision applications using Rekognition and custom CV models.
- Orchestrate AI pipelines with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and event-driven workflows.
- Work with data engineers to prepare and transform datasets for ML training and inference.
- Monitor and optimize model performance, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Enable real-time AI integrations with Kinesis Data Streams, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
- 3+ years in machine learning engineering or applied AI roles.
- Strong proficiency with AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Comprehend, Bedrock, Rekognition, Lex).
- Solid Python skills with ML/DL libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience in model deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and serverless computing.
- Understanding of ML Ops best practices and CI/CD for ML workflows.
- AWS Certification(s): Machine Learning Specialty, Solutions Architect Associate/Professional.
- Experience with Generative AI and fine-tuning LLMs.
- Background in CX analytics, personalization engines, or voice AI.
- Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings for semantic search.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
