*the position*:
*responsibilities*:
- build and manage data tables and extensions to support campaign targeting, personalisation, and reporting, ensuring data structure scalability and accuracy
- architect and build automated, relevant life-cycle campaigns and event-based triggers in our esp (messagegears)
- write and optimize sql queries to extract performance insights from marketing and customer data
- analyse campaign performance metrics (open rate, ctr, conversion, etc.) and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- maintain a centralized google sheets-based campaign calendar, including forecasting, scheduling, and audience size prediction, to support planning and stakeholder visibility across teams
- build and maintain a rapport with cross-functional teams including data analytics team, data science, product and tech teams, brand design and the local marketing teams
- mentor junior team members and champion operational excellence in campaign execution, qa, testing, and documentation
- 5-7 years of strong technical experience with esps, relational tables and dynamic content (messagegears a plus, but not required)
- knowledge with sql, html and css, including responsive design (net, xml, json, jquery, php or ampscript a plus, but not required)
- bsc/ba in computer science, information technology, web programming, or related field; or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency is an asset
- ability to fix bugs and troubleshoot technical issues
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- proven aptitude for creative problem solving with a strong attention to detail
- self-motivating and capable of handling multiple projects at the same time with mínimal oversight
