Raw material planner
job summary
guarantee the arrival of raw material on time and quantity. Meet designed inventory value. Maintain effective communication with external and internal customers.
what you’ll do:
• ensure raw material availability to meet customer´s requirements.
* perform weekly raw material planning thru jde.
* analyze and confirm with suppliers any forecast/demand fluctuation.
* daily review of crystal reports (exception planning report, past due rans, critical components, top ten high inventory value components).
* communicate issues to production control teams.
* meet as: as244, as246, as051, as544
* review and close material receiving discrepancies in time and quantity.
* update and present monthly kpis (otp, inventory turns).
* establish and notify implementation dates of components in revision changes to avoid obsolescence.
effective communication to all teams when critical components with suppliers.
what is required:
• bachelor’s degree (business or industrial engineering)
• 2 years minimum automotive industry available to work on weekends occasionally.
• english language proficiency required
• availability to work on site 4 days/week
