Global leader company in the chemical industry, specializing In innovative products and situations, are looking for their next Plastic Salesman.
As a Plastic Salesman, your misión is manage and develop sales of company´s engineering plastics in Mexico and adjacent countries, ensuring customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and business growth through key account management, market development, and effective internal coordination.
Location: Delegación Benito Juárez, Ciudad de México.
Type: On-site.
Main activities:
Responsible product:
* Polycarbonate, PA12, PBAT and its compounds.
* ABS and its compounds
* Other engineering plastic within company´s product portfolio (includes but not limited to Sulfone Polymers).
Territory: Mexico and adjacent countries.
Sales management
* Interact with all existing customers in region, maintain relationship.
* Develop new customers and evaluate the performance of all distributors.
* Act as key account manager, work with global sales team to assure customer’s satisfactory with the company (on time delivery, responsive, inventory management)
Planning, Implementing and reporting.
* To establish sales objectives and forecast and developing annual sales plan.
* Develop appropriate marketing/pricing strategy and get approval from management team.
* Implement sales strategy to achieve annual sales plan.
* Fulfill the reporting obligation assigned by the management team.
Market monitoring.
* Monitoring market dynamic (supply vs demand, competitor’s strategy/price etc) and customer attitude/sentimental related to business.
* Supporting decision making in strategic marketing and business management through proposals.
Internal coordination.
* Work with logistic/supply chain team to manage/monitor the local stock, assure sufficient inventory to fulfill customer demand.
* Work with compliance/regulatory team to assure all product sales activities are comply with all applicable regulations.
Requirement:
* Bachelor or above degree in the major of polymer/material science.
* Fluent in writing and oral Spanish and English.
* Strong international mindset and multi-cultural ability, excellent internal and external coordination capability.
* 5 years + sales experience in plastic industry, excellent negotiation skills, customer relationship build up and maintain.
* Ability of multi-product lines and projects management.
* Capable to handle direct customer and distributor, expertise in dealing with E&E and Auto relevant customers (other applications like construction, houseware, etc)
* Knowledgeable of market layout, self-motivated to develop and meet sales goals
* Ability of market dynamic info collection, analysis and convert to directive sales strategy.
Desirable Skills:
Preferably to have Chinese on negotiation level.
