The senior it project manager manages a project (standalone or as part of a program/larger project) to ensure it delivers expected and aligned business case to the it and/or business sponsors, on time, on budget, on scope and on quality that may be clearly defined upfront or may require dynamic and iterative scoping, delivery and change management (agile program management), adhering to established project management methodologies.
s/he is responsible for participating and/or leading/driving discovery through to design with the assembly team of it and/or business resources to then help build the business case with comprehensive budget planning for final submission and approval.
