Overview:
The Content Scheduler for FAST channels is a part of the Content Scheduling for FAST channels team and is responsible for the daily operations of multiple FAST linear channels including media library and scheduling. The FAST Programming and Scheduling Department is responsible for the content strategy for all on-air schedules for our linear-style channels.
Responsibilities:
* FAST Media-Library and Scheduling Specialist – This includes a training and certification for Amagi NOW and Amagi CLOUDPORT Platform provided by Canela Media. Locate and revise assets within the media library in Amagi, to efficiently handle and organize media content for the fast-channels programming. Proficiency in programming and managing schedules for FAST channels in Amagi Playlist and Planner. Ability to create, maintain, and optimize these schedules ensures smooth daily operations, including managing the placeholders for the near-live programs, their repeats, ad segments, and promos. ensuring timely and accurate delivery for live-switch programming across all channels.
* FAST Live Events Experience – Plan near-live events within the channels in conjunction with the Live Events team that executes them. Ability to handle the complex nature of real-time content coordination and ensures that our channels maintain high-quality, seamless live broadcasts.
* Cross-Team Coordination – Work closely with both the marketing and sales teams to ensure that the rotation schedules for promos and sponsored content align with their campaign calendars. This coordination ensures that our promotional and sponsored messages reach the intended audience at the right times.
* Playlist Management – Program and build playlists, media lists, and collections within the CMS for FAST, managing them as necessary for both marketing and sales assets rotation. This involves regularly updating them with new assets and ensuring that the latest content is reflected across all relevant channels.
* On-Screen Graphics and AI Scheduling Coordination – With the upcoming system migration to Amagi, develop and implement new skills in the custom integrating of on-screen graphics such as logo bugs, lower-thirds, and overlays on fast-channels. Enhance the overall viewing experience with AI scheduling as well as the monetization opportunities of each channel.
* Support in programming homepages across various pages in the Canela.TV in partnership with content teams and video operations teams
* Analyze performance of channels and recommend programming changes and enhancements to constantly improve channel performance
* Manage and update content placement across various rails and collections on the Quickplay platform to maximize visibility and user engagement.
* Extract and analyze performance data for FAST channels and VOD content to support the development of detailed partnership reports.
Qualifications:
* Experience managing VOD and OTT platforms (Exclusive), especially for FAST channels.
* Knowledgeable in Linear Channel Scheduling as well as Live Events programming, especially for FAST channels.
* Experience in managing calendars for linear premieres, new releases, stunts, marathons, as well as promos and house-ads rotation in FAST channels.
* English & Spanish required.
