this is a senior accountant position that requires exceptional financial management skills, including experience with procure-to-pay (ptp) cycle, general ledger accounting, and other related tasks.
key responsibilities:
* financial analysis and reporting to ensure accurate, complete, and timely data
* lead or support process improvement projects related to ptp cycle for enhanced efficiency
* prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
* support sox compliance and external audit requirements
* manage and assist staff handling the travel & expense (t&e) helpdesk activities
* monitor corporate credit card program to prevent unauthorized transactions
* collaborate with t&e vendor to resolve any issues
* administer concur system for user provisioning and de-provisioning
general ledger accounting:
* perform day-to-day accounting functions and provide support to other corporate accounting operations to ensure accurate, complete, and timely reports and financial statements
* assist in month-end and quarter-end processes, including flux commentary, ad hoc analyses, and reporting
* prepare general ledger journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and analyses for assigned areas, such as po accrual and grir process, fixed assets, leases, goodwill, and intangibles
* maintain and monitor gl activities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and operational controls, including sox compliance
* prepare audit schedules or management reports as needed
* perform ad-hoc analysis for finance and tax, and other inter-departmental teams as needed
* participate in special projects such as process improvement and documentation
