The role of a Project Engineer involves collaborating with internal and external teams to plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure, facility, and operational projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all technical, safety, quality, and financial requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Provide technical inputs for business case analyses, including feasibility studies, technical risk assessments, preliminary cost estimates, and project execution plans. Develop and review technical specifications, scope documents, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure timely and quality deliverables. Monitor project progress, controls costs, and reports deviations.
- Technical Support & Compliance: Provide technical assessments, drawing review, and solutions during design and execution phases.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, internal codes/standards and regulatory requirements. Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans. Manage incident reports and change requests.
- Serve as liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Perform site inspections, supervise testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
