We’re disrupting a fragmented market currently dominated by expensive lawyers and consultants, offering ai-assisted completion and submissions at $25 vs. the $200–500 status quo. Our platform expands into financial services and other ancillary services to capture long-term customer value across the immigration journey.

the role
we’re seeking a hands-on marketing manager to execute customer acquisition campaigns for our ds-160 platform launch. Working closely with the ceo, you’ll run day-to-day marketing across social media, paid advertising, content, partnerships, and events—while optimizing toward a cac target under $20. You’ll also create simple marketing collateral (flyers, booth materials, one-pagers) for trade shows and events.
we strongly prefer candidates based in latin america. Our primary markets are across the region, and fluency in both english and spanish is required for this role.
this is a full-time contractor position.
what you’ll own
social media & paid advertising
* execute social campaigns: create and run posts/ads on instagram reels, tiktok, whatsapp, kwai, and youtube for latin american markets
* manage paid media: set up and optimize facebook/meta ads, google ads, and local platform advertising within budget parameters
* create social content: write captions, coordinate with designers, and adapt messaging for different countries and languages
mobile app marketing & optimization
* app store optimization (aso): a/b test app store listings, screenshots, descriptions, and keywords to improve download conversion
* in-app conversion: test onboarding flows, form presentation styles, and user journey optimization
* social-to-app funnels: develop content that drives app downloads, including preview videos and user testimonials
* mobile attribution tracking: monitor cpi, install-to-registration conversion, and ltv by source
* push notification testing: a/b test messaging, timing, and frequency for engagement and retention
partnership outreach & support
note: we’re looking for someone comfortable with cold outreach and relationship-building at a basic level—not a senior bd hire. Consulate/government relations are handled by the ceo.
* tourism partnerships: outreach to theme parks, entertainment venues, and tourism operators for co-marketing opportunities
* university partnerships: reach out to international student offices and study-abroad agencies for f-1 visa pipeline
* ngo partnerships: build relationships with immigration-focused nonprofits to distribute discount codes to underserved communities
* agent outreach: contact immigration lawyers and consultants to pitch our platform and gather feedback
marketing collateral & creative
* trade show & event materials: design simple print and digital materials (flyers, booth banners, one-pagers, branded handouts) using canva or similar tools
* ad creative: produce and iterate on visual assets for paid and organic social campaigns
* localization: adapt all materials for spanish-speaking latin american audiences across different cultural contexts; portuguese a plus
* brand consistency: ensure all collateral adheres to zipmi brand guidelines across channels
campaign implementation & community marketing
* email marketing: build and manage automated email sequences for different user segments
* physical advertising: coordinate outdoor advertising (bus ads, billboards) near us consulates and visa application centers
* local referral programs: develop and manage word-of-mouth referral campaigns in brazilian and mexican communities
* seo & content: optimize pages for search, coordinate content calendar, write blog posts
* event support: represent zipmi at immigration, travel, and university events as needed
reporting & analysis
* daily monitoring: track campaign performance across all channels and flag issues quickly
* weekly reporting: compile performance data, cac analysis, and spend reports for ceo review
* testing coordination: set up a/b tests for ad creative, emails, and aso
* budget management: track marketing spend against monthly budgets and flag any overruns
required experience
digital marketing execution (2–4 years)
* hands-on experience running facebook/meta ads and google ads; international platforms a plus
* created content and managed campaigns across instagram, tiktok, youtube, and whatsapp business
* comfortable with cac optimization, attribution tracking, and budget management
* experience writing marketing copy, briefing designers, and coordinating video content
multi-channel execution
* built automated email sequences and managed email campaigns
* basic seo knowledge and experience optimizing landing pages
* comfortable with google analytics, facebook ads manager, and marketing dashboards
* ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
creative & design
* proficiency in canva or similar tools to produce trade show materials, social assets, and print collateral
* strong eye for layout and brand consistency; can produce polished outputs without a dedicated designer
communication & language
* experience with cold outreach, relationship-building, and basic partnership or bd work
* experience marketing to international or immigrant communities
* english and spanish required — professional fluency in both; portuguese is a plus
* based in latin america strongly preferred
preferred qualifications
* experience living in or marketing to latin american audiences
* familiarity with whatsapp business, kwai, and other platforms popular across latin america
* background at fintech, travel, immigration services, or early-stage startups
* experience with regulated marketing or compliance considerations
* self-directed; comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
