Overview
Position: Environmental Project Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare detailed OER/DEC work plans and reports for environmental projects.
- Oversee scheduling, management, and execution of remediation and redevelopment projects from beginning to end.
- Provide expert guidance and oversight to ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Serve as a key client contact, fostering strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 3-10 years of experience in environmental consulting and contracting.
- Strong knowledge of NYC OER and NYS BCP Projects.
- Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical writing experience.
