we are seeking an experienced cost accountant to join our team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for analyzing production costs, maintaining accurate cost records, and supporting leadership with data‑driven insights that improve operational efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working closely with operations, finance, and supply chain teams.
* maintain and analyze standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
* perform monthly cost variance analysis and present findings to management.
* support month‑end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
* monitor inventory transactions and ensure accuracy of boms, routings, and production reporting.
* conduct periodic inventory audits and cycle counts.
* prepare cost models for new products, process changes, and capital projects.
* collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand cost drivers and recommend improvements.
* assist in budgeting and forecasting related to manufacturing costs.
* ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.
* bachelor’s degree in accounting.
* minimum of 3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
* strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost analysis.
* proficiency with erp systems (sap, oracle, netsuite, or similar).
* advanced excel skills.
* strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
* excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
