Development of innovative cement and binder systems, leading r&d projects in the field of binder technology focused on the reduction of the environmental impact.
*main responsibilities*:
- research of the state-of-the-art of binder technologies
- research and development of new chemistry binders.
- preparation and characterization of raw materials, final products and emissions.
- support in the calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and analytical equipment.
- use of cement hydration simulation tools
- development of new laboratory testing methods and their scaling.
knowledge about standards for laboratory tests (astm, iso, en, etc).

background:
- chemist or material science bachelor, preferable should have master science degree or higher degree in fields of material science.

- experience in laboratory work, materials preparation, chemical and mineralogical characterization.
- experience in research of patents, scientific literature, laboratory research, and writing research proposals.
- knowledge in design of experiments.
- ideally, more than 2 years of professional experience in materials research activities
technical skills required by role.
- knowledge in inorganic chemistry with a focus on portland cement experience with analytical methods (xrf, dsc, tga, ir), microscopy (optical and sem (scanning electron microscope)), mineralogical analysis (xrd and microscopy), material testing equipment and material modelling tools.
