responsibilities
* control of chemicals and hazardous waste
* preparation of risk assessments (ra)
* investigation of accidents/incidents and coordination of emergency response teams and safety & hygiene committees
* conduct inspections to identify risks and monitor ppe compliance
* control of requirements for forklifts and drivers
* validate equipment to be used by employees and contractors prior to any high-risk work
* coordinate ehs activities across different departments
* approval/release of new areas and machinery
* coordinate monthly management review meetings for ehs metrics
* coordinate improvement projects for machinery and equipment
* develop and deliver ehs training programs
qualifications
* degree in industrial, environmental engineering, or related field
* 3–5 years of experience in ehs supervision
* strong knowledge of legal ehs requirements
* experience in the implementation and follow-up of iso 14001, iso 45001, and clean industry programs
* strong communication skills
* teamwork
* sense of urgency
* strong coordination skills
* english proficiency (80%)
* proficiency in microsoft office
* personnel management
* self-directed
