Summaryguidepost solutions is seeking an associate director to join our mexico city–based investigations and compliance team.this role is designed for a highly capable professional who excels at managing complex investigative and risk advisory engagements and is ready to take the next step toward broader client leadership and commercial responsibility.the associate director will serve as a day-to-day leader on matters, acting as the primary project manager for sophisticated, often cross-border engagements.while case execution is the core focus of the role, the associate director will also begin to develop client-facing and business development skills, supporting senior leaders in proposal development, client relationship management, and firm-building initiatives.core responsibilitiescase & project leadership (primary focus)independently manage high-quality investigative and advisory engagements from inception to completion.serve as day-to-day project lead on investigations and risk advisory matters, including:corporate investigations and internal inquiriesdue diligence and background investigationscompliance, anti-corruption, and regulatory mattersfraud, asset tracing, and financial investigationssecurity, integrity, and reputational risk mattersdevelop investigative methodologies and work plans tailored to client needs and risk profiles.manage multidisciplinary and, where applicable, cross-border project teams, including internal staff and external resources.act as a key point of contact for clients on day-to-day matters, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism.oversee analysis, quality control, and drafting of reports and presentations;
