as a manager, sales technology center of excellence supporting the commercial data science team, you will be trusted to lead strategic digital initiatives and manage the mexico city-based team to drive innovation and performance in data analytics and technology enablement.
in this role, a typical day will include:
- collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess and prioritize digital projects based on feasibility, viability, and strategic alignment.
- leading and mentoring the mexico city team to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- supporting the commercial data science team in executing key initiatives related to analytics, modeling, and data integrity.
- partnering with it and third-party vendors to implement technology solutions.
- developing kpis and tracking progress of ongoing initiatives to ensure measurable business impact.
- recommending and implementing business process improvements to enhance technology adoption and operational efficiency.
what you'll bring to alcon:
minimum requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school +13 yrs; associate +9 yrs; master's +2 yrs; phd +0 yrs).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, digital transformation, or related fields.
- fluent in english (written and verbal).
additional qualifications
- experience with digital tools and platforms such as alteryx, tableau, sap bi, and salesforce (sfdc).
- familiarity with data science concepts and agile methodologies.
- strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- proven ability to lead through influence and manage ambiguity.
- experience working in global, multicultural environments.
