*essential job functions*
*pvt/single agenda for quality*
- ecb/bsaq/vrt/quality
- vrt functions (team meetings, management reviews, vqrs)
- lead for process/manufacturing issues, except those that are plant/operator controllable.
- vome vrt core projects - vome direction
- support implementation of core group specific strategies (eol, alignment, tire room, tooling, and processes)
- confirm alignment with vome standards for added process/tooling quality improvement actions.
- address ecb & evb's using bsaq process
- support clarification of ecb by reviewing gqrs surveys, aws, verbatims, and additional internal indicators (first run, cal, 25 mile drive, m10) as required
- review daily ecb and evb binning for proper responsibility (process, design, supplier design, supplier process)
- represent vome at vrt to address manufacturing controllable items based on plant internal quality indicators (qls, fcpa).
- assist in the development and management of the bsaq roadmaps to deliver the vfg objectives (tgw and r/1000 reductions) by implementing revisions to the following:
- tooling, equipment, and facilities
- process
- error proofing implementation (dc tools, barcode scan, & pick lights)
- lead / participate in the identification of common cross vehicle line concerns for resolution.
- support vome advanced feasibility group to provide them the quality-related information/data they require from all plants.
*core vo deliverables performed by pvt*
- process sheets/pfmeas/corporate process initiatives
- gspas maintenance
- process development and production process sheet updates for pvt released new content
- delta audits (review process sheet deck per vopqug219) & issue resolution
- ecn maintenance per wers releases & vrt directed initiatives
- process deck maintenance (parts, tools, process, usages, orphan & unclaimed parts, etc) per vopgona206.
- local pfmea updates
- local control plans updates (as required) and ongoing adherence (vopqug-051)
- support plant process investigation and compliance to the standards for gert.
- launch/process support (for those pvt's without a resident launch team (mpt): reference manufacturing program team r&r document for a full description)
- major program launches (pvt is incremental support from mp1 through oktb, that still allows for the pvt vome engineers to maintain all pvt responsibilities)
- minor programs and running changes which entail:
- assembly feasibility
- aims meetings: issue resolution, validation and documentation
- change control (determine tooling, equipment, facilities and labor costing)
- tooling, equipment and facilities development, buyoff and installation
- lead core functional responsibilities including, eol, hla, alignment, fluid fill, tire room, avis, and other fae tooling and processes.
- error proofing updates and/or additions
- ais updates aligned with new teledata/broadcast codes
- support in plant trials and prove-out associated with:
- engineering concerns, mcr actions, alerts and psos
- tpps studies/tiss reports
- safety & ergonomic concern evaluation and resolution (zero red ergonomic concerns)
- part complexity evaluations and resolutions
- corporate strategy implementation - aligned with vome fae advanced feasibility and planning group
- provide lessons learned feedback to prevent reoccurrence across the plants
