About the role:
we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced call center business manager to lead and establish our debt recovery operations in emerging markets. key responsibilities:
1.team building & management:
* recruit, train, and lead local collections teams in each country.
* establish performance metrics and incentive programs to ensure team targets are met.
* foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
2.operational strategy:
* develop and implement effective collections strategies tailored to local markets.
* monitor and optimize collections processes using data analysis and technology tools.
* continuously improve recovery rates and operational efficiency.
3.compliance & risk management:
* ensure all collections activities comply with local laws and regulations.
* identify and mitigate risks related to debt recovery operations.
* regularly review and update compliance policies to adapt to regulatory changes.
4.stakeholder communication:
* collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, finance, and client teams.
* provide regular reports on collections performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations.
5.market analysis:
* conduct market research to understand local consumer behavior and debt recovery trends.
* adapt strategies based on market dynamics and competitor activities.
qualifications:
1.experience:
* minimum 3 years of experience in collections, sales, or operations within the consumer finance industry.
* proven track record of building and managing teams in a similar role.
* experience in cross-border team management is a plus.
2.language skills:
* strong english communication skills are required for cross-regional collaboration.
* chinese language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
