Ensure that purchase goods, materials and services and company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. You will hold responsibility for a specific project/region/business. You will deliver tactical activities of purchasing goods and services off of defined contracts with stated terms and conditions. Also may include occasional one-off negotiations for non-standard buys, low dollar volume buys or items that are not strategically sourced.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the organization goals.
- Oversee and manage complex procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations contract management and delivery ensuring project goals are met within scope, budget and timelines.
- Provide guidance to a team of procurement professionals, including buyers, purchasing agents and coordinate the successful execution of procurement projects.
- Review and monitor purchase requisitions
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct due diligence, and negotiate terms to secure cost-effective a quality purchases.
- Understand market trends
- Deal with invoice discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with strategic procurement
- Project Management
YOU MUST HAVE
- 2+ years experience in procurement and project management.
- 1+ year experience in negotiation and contract management skills.
- 1+ years experience in budget management and financial acumen.
- 1+ years experience of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects
- Knowledge of purchasing systems
- Valid Passport and VISA
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Good organizational - ability to prioritize and do problem solving
- Medium amount of years of experience in a purchasing
- Advanced English.
- Planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management experience
- Good technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing
