Supply chain specialist job description
main responsibilities include:
* purchasing policy definition by component, taking into account lead times, snp, minimum and maximum inventory, incoterm, and freight cost control.
* loading of component profiles in the erp system to generate purchase orders to suppliers.
* material inventory management, including rotation and analysis of original versus actual purchase order variances.
* total mrp management, covering consumption analysis versus theoretical values, scrap control from plex, and fluctuation analysis.
* coordination of break points in engineering changes related to materials, ensuring obsolescence is managed effectively.
* registration of part numbers in the plex system and generation of purchase orders to mro suppliers.
* tracking of mro part deliveries until arrival at the plant, as well as material receipt management at the mro.
* inventory control for accuracy and consumption trend analysis.
* cyclic inventory coordination in the mro warehouse, peps control, and coordination with mro warehouse assistants.
* review of minimums and maximums based on historical trends and packing density improvement management.
key qualifications for this role include:
* bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
* one year of experience in a similar position or related field.
* conversational english skills.
* proficiency in excel.
* knowledge of purchasing planning and materials management principles.
* familiarity with erp systems.
