responsibilities
* prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close schedules
* support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting
* partner with the director of accounting and controller to bring accounting processes in-house
* assist with erp and financial systems implementation (netsuite experience preferred)
* reconcile cash, ar/ap, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
* coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
* collaborate with operations and product teams to ensure proper accounting for new initiatives
* identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
* ensure compliance with u.s. Gaap and company policies
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (cpa or cpa candidate preferred)
* 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or startup experience a plus)
* strong understanding of u.s. Gaap and month-end close procedures
* hands-on experience with erp systems; netsuite experience preferred
* strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
* experience documenting processes and supporting system implementations
* comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
this position is onsite at our monterrey office located in the corporativo santa maria complex.
