job summary
mpg is seeking a proactive and analytical accounting specialist to manage client-level financial tracking, monitor profit margins, and collaborate across teams to support budget planning and oem/vendor payment coordination. This role links revenue forecasting with actual financial performance and involves cross-functional meetings with the purchasing department, vendor negotiations, and corporate planning.
primary objective
to ensure accurate accounting of client-specific revenue, monitor gross profit margins, support forecasting goals, and manage accounts payable/receivable workflows—especially for oem and vendor relationships—while helping other teams build budget plans aligned with company-wide revenue goals.
key responsibilities & daily tasks
client-level financial tracking
* monitor and maintain individual client accounts in zoho books and quickbooks.
* track revenue and expenses per client to determine profitability against forecast.
* generate margin reports and alert leadership if clients are underperforming or exceeding margin targets.
profit margin & forecast monitoring
* assist in building and adjusting profit forecasts based on client orders and vendor pricing.
* collaborate with business analyst manager and procurement to align financial strategy with real-time data.
* run monthly reports comparing forecast vs. actual revenue and margin.
oem/vendor ap & ar accounting
* process accounts payable and receivable specific to oems and service vendors.
* ensure proper invoicing, payment scheduling, and reconciliation with procurement and logistics teams.
* flag discrepancies in pricing or delivery for investigation.
budget support & cross-team collaboration
* support internal departments in building budget plans based on actual revenue per client.
* provide insights during department meetings on financial health of key client/vendor relationships.
* participate in pricing discussions, vendor negotiations, and onboarding sessions as needed.
financial systems & compliance
* use zoho books and quickbooks for daily accounting entries, reporting, and audit trails.
* ensure data integrity and file organization across financial records.
* assist in maintaining compliance with local tax and accounting rules (coordinated with hr/payroll team if needed).
required qualifications
* minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a procurement, supply chain, or oem environment.
* must have experience managing ap/ar for oems and vendors.
* proficient in zoho books and quickbooks online.
* strong excel and financial reporting skills.
* familiar with profit/loss margin reporting and budgeting practices.
* intermediate to advanced english (written and verbal).
* bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

* up to 1,500 usd per month, depending on qualifications and experience
