This role is critical in ensuring compliance with mexican tax regulations, supporting maquiladora operations, and managing cross-border financial activities.
the ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with us-based companies and maquiladora structures, focusing on providing accurate and timely financial data to the organization as well as to support tax and compliance efforts.
qualifications:
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Cpa or equivalent certification is a plus.
* minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, with 3+ years in maquiladora or cross-border operations.
* strong understanding of mexican tax regulations, specifically immex and maquiladora.
* experience working with us-based companies and coordinating financial reporting with corporate headquarters.
* proficiency in financial systems and erp platforms.
* fluent in english and spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* proven ability to manage complex financial operations in a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.
