What will you do?
· the primary responsibility of this position is to execute and maintain the demand & supply planning for targeted customer groups.
· maintain demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy.
· analyse sales trends based on seasons, promotions, and historical sales trends.
· manage and influence the key stakeholders in the demand consensus process. Identify insights in demand that can be used to support increased revenue.
· maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer demands.
· execute product demand plans to meet organization goals.
· implement lead time reduction initiatives.
· develop lean techniques to improve demand planning metrics and processes.
· optimize inventory planning according to the demand and market trends to meet cost and the service objectives.

what are we looking for?
required:
education and experience:
· a bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, computer science, or a certification in operator or vendor management, such as the apics certified in production and inventory management (cpim) or the apics certified supply chain professional (cscp) required.
· 4+ years of experience working in planning and inventory solutions in a manufacturing environment. (experience with high growth and new product introduction is a big plus)
· knowledge of supply chain processes, such as sales and operations planning, mrp, forecasting, demand and supply planning, indirect procurement, materials management and logistics.
· use of various software and computer applications, such as oracle, sap, jd edwards, sas, apo and microsoft office programs, required.

· a flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others; easily accepts constructive input from others.

preferred:
· manufacturing experience. (hvac a plus)
