the multi-site financial controller manager is responsible for leading financial control activities across several automotive plants in mexico. This role ensures accurate reporting, strong cost control, and effective financial governance to support operational performance and business decisions.
key responsibilities
* lead financial control across multiple sites, ensuring consistency in reporting and financial processes.
* oversee monthly closing, variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
* monitor plant performance, cost structure, and key financial indicators.
* partner with plant managers and operations teams to drive productivity and margin improvement.
* control standard cost, overhead, manufacturing variances, inventory, and working capital.
* support capex planning, investment analysis, and roi tracking.
* ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and audit requirements.
* lead and develop local finance teams across sites.
* improve processes, reporting tools, and financial transparency.
* support strategic decisions with clear analysis and business insights.
profile requirements
* degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or similar.
* strong experience in financial controlling within the automotive industry.
* solid knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and plant operations.
* strong analytical skills and business partnering mindset.
* experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and reporting.
* knowledge of erp systems and excel/financial reporting tools.
