a front-line marketing representative, who qualifies leads, provides guest service and generates tour flow by performing the following duties.
expected contributions
* positively represent the company at any location assigned. Maintain a collaborative working relationship with hotel and any other third-party company employees.
* provide concierge services to all resort guests and members in keeping, maintaining the “service first, product second” approach.
* provide excellent guest services, including accurate tourist information of the region.
* inspire confidence in the company through professionalism.
* determine guests' eligibility for promotional, gifted presentations, according to the standards described in training.
* attract eligible guests to preview the company vacation club program using premiums (gifts).
* fully inform and confirm every guest about the sales presentation, according to the standards described in training.
* create curiosity about the vacation club and encourage guests to tour with an open mind.
* complete the administrative work behind booking, manifesting, and confirming each sales presentation.
* attend all mandatory meetings and training.
* complete special projects as assigned by marketing supervisor.
candidate profile
* high school diploma required.
* minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing.
* bilingual, ability to speak english and spanish, fluently.
* demonstrate an ability to deliver high level of customer service in all situations.
* demonstrate the ability to build and develop strong work and guest relationships.
* must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, prepares and reviews written documents accurately and completely, and answers telephones using clear and professional language.
* develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, supports team to reach common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of others.
* stands, sits, or walks for extended periods or for an entire work shift. Ability to climb stairs.
* moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds without assistance.
* available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* performs other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
