The professional practices analyst will be the technical bridge between the global internal audit team and the archer grc platform. The role serves as an it business analyst for the audit function and ensures the technology ecosystem supports our audit methodology.
responsibilities
* act as the primary technical lead for the archer grc platform, managing the configuration of applications and advanced workflows.
* act as the primary data owner for the departmental data and develop a strategy for data tagging, consolidation, and warehousing.
* work with audit teams to translate business requirements into technical requirements and user stories by partnering with the it support team.
* develop and execute comprehensive uat scripts to validate that system enhancements, new modules, and automated integrations perform according to business specifications.
* design and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports within archer and power bi, providing leadership with real‑time visibility into audit progress, risk metrics, and departmental kpis.
* assess opportunities for quality assessment and automation within audit software.
* proactively identify system bottlenecks or data quality issues and implement creative configuration solutions to streamline the audit lifecycle.
education
* bachelor’s degree (licenciatura) in information technology, computer science, industrial engineering, finance, or a related field.
experience
* 3–5 years of experience as an it business analyst, grc analyst, or in an audit operations role within a global organization.
* proven experience with archer grc or other enterprise risk platforms.
* experience with data management, including data tagging and reporting architecture (power bi/sql).
* demonstrated track record of managing the end‑to‑end system development lifecycle (sdlc), from requirements to deployment.
licenses and certifications
* professional certification (iap, cia, cisa, or cpa) is preferred.
work requirements
* bilingual fluency in english and spanish. Must draft complex methodology documents and present strategic updates to global executive leadership in english.
