in addition, as part of the development excellence (devx) team within the data platforms engineering architecture (dpea) organization, engrx is developing the software infrastructure for supporting engineering work and connecting systems throughout the entire company.
we are looking for an energetic new intern with some fundamental knowledge within the software engineering space and an interest to improve their skills through a real-world intern experience.
the opportunities will include development of both front-end and back-end systems, database work, data science, and creating software solutions with uncompromising creativity, quality, and integrity.
the selected applicant will be part of the global software team responsible for helping develop our software environment with a focus on improving several areas of our existing software architecture.
the software role requires experience with object-oriented programming languages, scripting, database work, data structures, as well as a working knowledge of the software development process.
this employee must be a self-motivated, goal-oriented, independent worker who is passionate about quality of output, and must have the ability to produce results, sometimes with mínimal supervision and guidance.
*responsibilities will include but are not limited to*:
- development and customization of existing software tools and methods including website, pdm system, reporting, customer tools, etc.
- database development including schema and stored procedures.
- metric development with a focus on user experience and access to information.
- bug fixing and responding to user issues.

- 6+ months of experience working with scripting languages.

- 3+ months of experience writing and debugging database queries.
- advanced english level.

- 1+ years of experience with python.
- 1+ years of experience with html.
- 6+ months of experience with mssql.
- 6+ months of experience with c#.
- experience with code repositories (git).
