About the positionwe are looking for a quality management system specialist (qms) to join the automotive lighting team, reporting directly to the quality manager.
this position is based at our office in tepotzotlan, méxico.
the qms specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and continuously improving the quality management system to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
the role supports the achievement of customer satisfaction through effective quality processes at the electronics manufacturing plant.your responsibilitiesimplement and oversee the qms according to international standards (e.g., iso *, iatf *).
coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring effective closure of findings.develop, update, and review quality procedures, instructions, and forms.train staff in quality policies, procedures, and tools.analyze quality performance indicators and propose improvement plans.follow up on corrective and preventive actions.ensure proper management of quality documentation and records.collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics departments to ensure quality requirements are met.what qualifications you will bringbachelor's degree in engineering, administration, or a related field.relevant experience in quality management systems within electronics manufacturing or similar.familiarity with iso * and other applicable standards.experience in audits, document management, and continuous improvement.proficiency with quality analysis tools (e.g., pareto, ishikawa).
