Job title: inventory specialistthe primary objective of this role is to execute the inventory strategy developed in conjunction with serviced subsidiaries. This involves collaborating with various teams, including demand planning, supply network planning, and production planning, to deliver inventory goals while meeting or exceeding customer service target levels.develop a comprehensive inventory strategy that aligns with division inventory goals, encompassing all inventory components, including finished goods, on-hand materials, spare parts, inventory in transit, slow-moving, obsolete, etc.support monthly get fit discipline, which includes evaluation of performance vs. plan, understanding excess inventory, projecting future inventory, and providing detailed information to local s&d managers, cs&l director, and management team.lead weekly meetings with supply chain and commercial stakeholders to drive integration and alignment on maintaining optimum inventory levels and maximizing service.prepare monthly financial inventory reconciliation and attend finance meetings to track working capital and follow up on procurement to foster suppliers' integration into new smi policy.this role requires strong experience with inventory management, proficiency in sap/apo/ppds/so99+/io, and a b.a. or m.s. degree with an mba as a plus. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of supply chain experience, with 3-4 years in supply planning and/or production planning.
