What you will do:
the main task of a technician is to evaluate and monitor the equipment and processes to find potentially hazardous areas.
through periodic inspections and observations of work processes such as those made by operators, safety technicians identify defects that have the potential to cause damage or injury.
how you will do it:
1.
perform material inventory periodically.
2.
check the spill kit.
3.
comply with the signage placement in the plant.
4.
participate and perform audits with corrective actions.
5.
perform and control the labeling of visual material and standards.
6.
supervise and control height and fire permits.
7.
control hazardous waste and check the handling of chemicals
8.
perform inspections of confined spaces, fire extinguishers, shipments of hazardous waste.
9.
make and update green cross about accidents registered in the company
10.
make tours in plant to ensure that all personnel comply with safety standards.
11.
provide induction courses to new staff.
12.
update boards of information about safety and hygiene.
*what we look for*:
- university professional in a related area.
- six months of experience in the area of industrial safety, occupational hygiene and environmental protection.
