Job description:
we are seeking an experienced import & export manager to oversee international shipping operations, domestic distribution, and logistics management. The ideal candidate will manage relationships with our distribution center, international shipping partners, and domestic customers while ensuring operational excellence.
key responsibilities include:
* manage end-to-end product shipments, coordinating with our distribution center, shipping lines, and domestic customers to ensure on-time delivery
* lead transportation logistics team to maximize unit availability and meet shipping targets
* optimize warehouse utilization through effective communication and resource management
* process and track ministry of economy documentation
* coordinate international import/export operations and domestic shipments
* handle container bookings for japanese exports
* oversee transport equipment maintenance and fleet management
* manage driver expenses and departmental operating costs
* maintain dead file control systems
* coordinate internal shipments to puebla plant
* oversee national sales product delivery logistics

required skills & qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in international trade, business administration, industrial engineering, or related field
* minimum 5 years of logistics experience
* comprehensive knowledge of warehousing and shipping operations
* intermediate to advanced english proficiency
* advanced microsoft office suite proficiency
* strong customer service orientation
* proactive mindset
* exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
* ability to perform effectively under pressure
