purpose of the position:
to provide functional andtechnical support for the industrial system, ensuring the continuity of operations across production processes. This role requiresbasic-level programming skills (pl/sql or similar) to complete data analysis, strong analytical thinking, and excellent communication to diagnose, resolve, or escalate incidents effectively. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-driven, and committed to delivering high-quality service to end users.
main responsibilities:
* provide first and second-level support for incidents and service requests related to the industrial system.
* query and update databases using oracle sql, pl/sql, as part of troubleshooting and issue resolution.
* analyze root causes of system issues and collaborate with functional or technical teams to implement solutions.
* maintain clear documentation of all support cases, including resolution steps (knowledge base) and root cause / status tracking (tickets).
* escalate unresolved or critical issues according to internal procedures.
* assist end users with empathy and professionalism, ensuring business continuity and minimizing downtime.
* identify and propose improvements to system support processes or functionalities.
* executes all the activities related to any change that may affect the applications under his/her responsibility
* ensures full compliance with it tenaris methodology.
* complies with tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
* protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area
