Description
**Qualifications**:
Design and dimensioning mechanical componentes using CAD (CREO or Catia) with different manufacturing process (injection molding, die cast and sheet metal).
Perfom tolerance analysis and knowledge of GD&T.; DFMEA knowledge and evaluation.
Basic knowledge on FEA (thermal, vibration, mechanical shock). Ellaborate engineering DRWs for component manufacturing.
- Deep knowledge on material selection and their mechanical properties.
Excellent communication skills to interact with different stakeholders, including global customers and suppliers. Support on the creation of assembly instructions for mechanical products. Follow up samples manufacturing, validation test and engineering validations.
Lead and analize engineering changes affecting fit, form and function of mechanical components. Identify and implement continues improvement of mechanical design, based on quality feedback.
Management of engineering changes during product life cycle. Problem solving skills, based on standard methodologies (A3, 8D, etc). Willing to travel.
