about the role

key responsibilities

* merchant acquisition & growth strategy:
* develop and implement strategies for recruiting p2p merchants in target regions.
* build and manage the merchant acquisition pipeline to meet regional growth targets.
* create an action plan and manage the budget for effective merchant onboarding.
* execute both online and offline campaigns to increase merchant participation.
* regional partnership & market expansion:
* explore and establish partnerships with local exchanges, communities, and key influencers to drive adoption.
* cooperate with regional partners to enhance p2p brand awareness and expand the user base.
* organize local events and campaigns to promote p2p services and attract more takers.
* user & merchant feedback management:
* collect feedback from users and merchants to identify pain points and improve service quality.
* optimize the p2p user experience based on regional market demands and feedback.
* regularly analyze market trends and competitor activities to enhance our competitive position.
* operational management & execution:
* develop and manage strategies for merchant engagement and retention.
* authorize requirements for merchant acquisition and manage the execution process.
* track key performance metrics and continuously optimize the merchant network.
* community building & business awareness:
* collaborate with local communities, influencers, and crypto hubs to strengthen brand influence.
* launch online and offline events to drive community engagement and user acquisition.
* build long-term relationships with regional partners to establish a strong market presence.

requirements

* at least 2 years of experience in p2p business development, with proven success in merchant acquisition in one or multiple key regions (e.g., southeast asia, latam, arabic regions, south asia, or cis).
* strong understanding of p2p market dynamics and basic merchant acquisition strategies.
* established network with local p2p merchants, communities, and key partners.
* experience in making strategic plans, managing action plans, and controlling budgets.
* excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* fluent in english and at least one local language of the target regions (southeast asia, latam, arabic regions, south asia, or cis).
* self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
* preferred qualifications
* experience in crypto industry, previously worked in global exchanges, local exchanges or crypto communities.
* familiar with local regulations and compliance requirements for p2p services.
* proven track record in organizing community events or campaigns.
* have a wide network and partner resources in at lease one of the target regions.
* location: remote in latam areas.
