the strategic procurement specialist will be responsible for ensuring a seamless supply chain by strategically sourcing and procuring materials directly for production.
key responsibilities include analyzing material requirements planning (mrp) data, expediting purchase orders, providing timely feedback on inventory discrepancies, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
additional tasks include obtaining quality certifications for products, coordinating shipments of raw materials, meeting quality objectives, adhering to quality management systems, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
