Responsibilities
as the maintenance group leader, you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees. You will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard gm maintenance systems.
* you will analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes
* you will propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area
* direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area
* you will keep regular contact with partners outside the work group
* you will provide direction to small group of technical employees
* you may evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment
required qualifications
* bachelor’s degree: mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, mechatronic engineer or other related engineering field/experience.
* experience: minimum of 2 years in a similar position.
* maintenance experience, preferably in the automotive industry; highly valued in paint shop applications.
* shift flexibility: availability to work on rotating shifts (4x3 schedule).
* english proficiency: intermediate conversational level, with ability to express complete technical ideas.
technical expertise
* experience with industrial networks such as ethernet/ip and devicenet
* familiarity with fanuc robots
* knowledge of electric motors and variable frequency drives (vfds), preferably allen‑bradley.
* plc programming and troubleshooting
* experience in pneumatics, lubrication, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and power transmission components.
* proven experience managing and leading maintenance personnel directly
* experience with seal application robots
* knowledge of industrial conveyors (chain, roller table, elevators, overhead).
* familiarity with rsnetworx and rslinx communication tools.
