Responsibilities
* mechanical design and 3d modeling of mechanical parts, considering functionality, industrialization, and cost-effectiveness.
* conduct and support validation of mechanical designs.
* introduction of new part numbers, technical documentation and bill of materials for new products, in the company erp system (sap)
* conduct product bom changes and updates using the change management and engineering change request process
* support the organization by providing the product structure and technical data required for cost calculations and industrialization process.
* oversee the design and manufacturing of prototypes.
qualifications
* degree in mechanical engineering.
* knowledge and experience in cad software (autocad, solidworks or equivalent)
* good problem-solving and analytical skills.
* good communication and teamwork skills.
* good knowledge and experience in working with erp systems for product lifecycle management (sap or equivalent)
* knowledge of product documentation systems and product change management processes.
* familiarity with quality management systems and product data management is preferred (iso9001)
