over time, may build a team of specialists and provide direct supervision, assign workloads and delegate workflow.
- works alongside stakeholders, sets issue resolution guidance and risk levels in background investigations (bi's), and provides adjudication guidance.
- utilizes appropriate internet research methods.
works with leaders and others in security, risk and ogc to review client contracts and make recommendations on negotiations with respect to personnel security clauses.
- partners with talent to oversee and monitor contract terms with background screening vendors.
conducts business reviews and evaluates vendor kpis and research quality.
- monitors federal, state, local and international laws that affect program requirements, and alert relevant stakeholders when potential program changes are necessary.
- the admx security review manager will be responsible for programs within the us firms mexico offices and will work to resolve problems related to background investigations.
acts as program subject matter expert to address process flows concerns, aggregate program data and look for patterns to address program deficiencies.
- work with various groups such as hr talent, recruiting, risk, ogc (office of general counsel), ppmd talent, and insider threat.
- partners with talent and strategic procurement for contract management, various fiscal offices for billing issues, and senior leadership on briefings and reporting requirements.
- responsible for upholding federal, state, local and international laws that affect program requirements.
- responsible for adhering to annual fiscal budget.
- the security review (sr) group is responsible for analyzing the background investigations issues of current employees, new hires, promotions, transfers, and client-requested checks for all deloitte personnel throughout the us member firm.
bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- strong english oral and written communication skills.
- ability to interpret legal reports, and to review documents for alterations or forgery.
- set tone and expectations of specialists, providing appropriate mentorship, delegations and job development, as well as addressing performance concerns.
- advanced microsoft office skills, particularly excel functions, such as pivot tables, macros, etc.
- ability to locate online research tools beyond "google page one".
- proficient in technical writing to explain complex situations in layman's terms and creating writing templates to add specialists.
- some experience with statistical data gathering and modeling is desired.
