the role will support the site general manager - chromalloy south west with the provision of timely, accurate and appropriate management information (mi) and a strong control environment.
in addition to this the key areas of the role are:
- support local management with data in order to maximize profits in plant 1 and plant 2
- monthly reporting of financial performance and variance explanations
- sales, ebitda and cashflow forecasting
- coordinate annual budget and strategic reviews
- commercial support to sales team on new projects
- financial reporting under us gaap and local mexico gaap for all entities located within the maquiladora
- supervision of staff
the role-holder will be required to establish effective connections with the corporate finance teams in west palm beach, florida and the other finance leads within the region.
*primary accountabilities*:
- management team membership
- form part of the csw senior management team
- support the medium/long range business plans processes (slrp)
- act as the conduit between finance and other managers
- implement and manage kpi reporting
- represent the finance team at leadership meetings/engagements
- production and management of the management accounting systems
- production and management of production actual costing information
- production and management of standard costing information
- support customer quotations and pricing activities
- support engineering teams in all financial matters
- provide commentary on p&l, balance sheet and cash flow performance and underlying variances to plan
- management and support of capital expenditure (capex) submissions
- site lead on the financial aspects of inventory management (raw materials, work in process, finished)
- financial planning and analysis
- forecasting for sales, ebitda and cashflow on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- annual budgets
- continuous improvement projects in line with other departments and group requirements
- product profitability analysis and reporting; evaluate and provide insight/improvements
- business and financial control
- receive, review and prepare additional financial information for head office
- ensure effective processes and controls for financial reporting and overall company controls
- keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation
- mexico and us compliance framework
- accounting and reporting
- provide timely and accurate monthly management accounts,
- monthly submission of financials to hyperion
- balance sheet reconciliations
- oversight of intercompany balances

*minimum requirements*:
*education*:
- bachelor's degree essential
- fully qualified accountant (cpa or equivalent)
*experience*:
- minimum 5 years post qualification
- erp and business systems experience
- audit and statutory accounting

- tax knowledge (desirable)

- excellent oral and written english communication skills
- previous transferrable experience using strong analytical skills to change outcomes
- demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, techniques, and regulatory requirements in a job-costing environment
- excellent microsoft office skills particularly excel
- able to demonstrate experience of influencing a variety of peers and stakeholders
