Supply chain director - mexico
lead a team to drive operational excellence and scalable growth in mexico, owning the end-to-end supply chain in the region.
* plan, source, manufacture, and deliver raw materials and finished goods aligned with demand and production programs.
* implement and optimize erp/mrp and plm systems (e.g., sap, oracle, netsuite, arena, agile).
* negotiate with suppliers on cost, terms, dual sourcing, vmi/consignment, and performance scorecards.
* ensure full compliance with immex, sat, and u.s./mexico regulatory requirements.
* drive cost-reduction initiatives, working capital optimization, and inventory improvements.
* establish and monitor kpis: otif, inventory turns, supplier performance, cost savings.
* recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of ~25 professionals.

* bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or supply chain (mba preferred).
* 5+ years of supply chain leadership, ideally in immex manufacturing environments.
* proven track record in erp/mrp and plm implementations.
* strong knowledge of mrpii, jit, kanban, and dft.
* expertise in international trade, customs, and compliance.
* advanced negotiation and vendor development skills.
* experience managing cross-functional teams in complex, growing organizations.
* fully bilingual english/spanish.
* strong problem-solving (rcca, 8d, lean), analytical thinking, and stakeholder influence skills.
